I just discovered that i have the same problem in another database, both
databases that have this issue have a dot (.) in their name, could this be
the cause of the problem?

The best solution is going to sound harsh; don't use Enterprise Manager
to build queries. Learn SQL.
Seriously, the EM has a number of flaky issues, and although the
developers may have intended it to be an all-in-one tool for developers
and administrators, it falls far short of expectations.
On the other hand, the Management Studio for SQL 2005 seems to be much
more robust, so in the future that will be an option.
As a sidebar, you may want to reconsider your naming conventions for
databases :)
