Has anyone ever heard of a Data Driven Database using Frontpage 2003 or Sharepoint 2007 as the assistant tool on for the front end and SQL server as the engine?? Is that even possible??
Cause right now I have Access 2003 on the Front end and I would like to get rid of itFrontpage and Sharepoint especially play quite well with MSSQL.|||Hoorrrayy Just The Answer I Wanted Woohoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|||Has anyone ever heard of a Data Driven Database.....as opposed to, say, a gasoline powered database? Or perhaps nuclear?
And what is an "assistant tool"? Is that something that helps a screwdriver perform its duties?|||Hey how are you doing, sorry used wrong terminology|||Frontpage and Sharepoint especially play quite well with MSSQL.
Sharepoint plays with DBAs much like a cat plays with a mouse.|||I sent off for Sharepoint the Beta Version, I already have Frontpage 2003 created a website with it and everything.|||So since I'm more comfortable with that I was wondering if I could use it to take the place of the MS Access 2003 interface for our databases that we have now, would be nice to go web based and get rid of the applications.
